Joyce is a retired teacher with a master’s degree in organization development. She has proven organizational, problem solving, and leadership skills, as well as public speaking experience and a terrific sense of humor.
She has served twice as president of Chapter HQ, Hutchinson, and was the Reno County Reciprocity president. She has also served on the Kansas State Amendments and Recommendations Committee. Joyce’s grandmother was a P.E.O. in Des Moines, Iowa, and her mother and two sisters are P.E.O.s in Idaho.
Joyce and her husband, Jim, have been married 25 years. She has a son (a law school graduate), a daughter (a teacher), and a stepdaughter (an art director) as well four granddaughters and one expected in April.
Joyce’s enthusiasm and love for P.E.O. are contagious! She will be a sparkling jewel as she serves on the Kansas State Executive Board.
It is never too early to think about applying for the KSC Executive Board or a KSC Committee. Are you the hidden gem waiting to sparkle like a jewel in the sun?
