You might ask – “What should I look for?” A Chapter Member Roster (CMR) was emailed to each local chapter president in November. Ask your president for this roster and then review the following information:
- Make sure the email addresses for your chapter’s president, treasurer, and corresponding secretary are listed correctly with International Chapter. International will use these email addresses to send the annual report links. If there are changes to these addresses, use the “Manage Membership” link at the top of the International website to report them. Make sure you don’t miss out on the annual report links!
- Review your CMR to make sure all new initiations, transfers into your chapter and reinstatements are listed. If a sister is not listed, please report the membership transaction ASAP. If you think you reported it already, but it’s not showing, contact KSC Executive Secretary Kasey Griffith (kscpeokaseygriffith@gmail.com). Since the CMRs were sent out in November, it could be that a transaction was reported after the CMR was generated. Kasey can help you figure this out.
- If your chapter had a sister enter Chapter Eternal, and it was reported to International, then her name will appear on the 2023-2024 CMR, along with the date of her passing. If you see her name on the CMR, but do not see her date of death, please report her passing to International.
PRO TIP: Please do not wait until annual reports are due to record membership transactions. Reporting them throughout the year will ensure that your member roster for annual reports is accurate.
If you have unreported membership transactions, please make sure to report them prior to February 25, 2024. The “Manage Membership” link will be taken down on that date and will not be available until after March 1. Reporting these transactions now will make the annual report process much easier and faster for your chapter – help out your chapter treasurer by making sure it is done.
Aside from reviewing the CMR, there are several other ways to prepare for annual reports:
- Read the article, “ANNUAL REPORT: 5 TIPS for Chapters”, which appears in the November/December issue of The P.E.O. Record. You can even view it online here: https://online.flippingbook.com/view/445258359/5
- Plan to review the training video provided by International Chapter after February 1. Even if you’ve completed prior electronic annual reports, you need to watch this year’s training, as there have been enhancements to the electronic report. Consider watching this video with the president and treasurer of your chapter so that you are all familiar with the process and can figure out how to work as a team.
- If your chapter had a change to the 2023-2024 officers and it has not been reported to International, please submit this change through the Report of Elections of Officers of Local Chapter Form (located in the Corresponding Secretary section of the International website), by December 31. After that date, please contact Kasey Griffith with any changes and she will work with International to make sure the current officers are reported.
