Between her Junior and Senior year at KSU she married her high school sweetheart and fellow Wildcat, Russ. Upon their graduation, they moved to Belleville to accept their first jobs and have remained there. Stacia has spent the last 21 years working in sales for Sysco Foods.
Stacia was invited to join Chapter JA in Belleville in 1996. She truly appreciates that the gift of P.E.O. was shared with her and values all the ladies she has been able to call sisters through the years. As a member of Chapter JA, she has served as president, vice president, co-treasurer, recording secretary, reciprocity chair, program chair, initiation team, and worked on many committees. She has enjoyed serving as a delegate to state conventions several times and has had the pleasure of serving on the KSC Membership Committee for the last two years.
Stacia and her BIL, Russ, have three children. Nicholas graduated from Kansas State University with a degree in Biology and is currently working on an additional Bachelor’s in Nursing. Their daughter, Hayley, a 2020 STAR scholarship recipient, earned a degree in Hospitality Management from KSU. Their youngest son Zachary is studying Robotics and Automation at Kansas State Salina.
A few extra special P.E.O. memories for Stacia include having the pleasure of attending her mother, Teresa Albert’s initiation into Chapter AE, Smith Center, and the honor of serving as president during her daughter Hayley’s initiation into Chapter JA of Belleville. While on vacation, Stacia and Hayley stopped at the International office in Des Moines where they enjoyed a private tour.
Outside of P.E.O., Stacia enjoys reading, playing piccolo in the Kansas State University Alumni Band, and being actively involved in the Belleville First United Methodist Church and the Republic County Czech Club. She also enjoys travel and has a long list of must-see places yet to visit!
